Foot reflexology is a simple, non-invasive method to help balance the body. It has been described as a natural therapy
that requires the application of a specific type of pressure on particular areas of the feet. It is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet which correspond to every part

Reflexology is different than massage. The actual technique is quite unique as it is meant to affect the reflex and not just the surface of the skin. During the massage, acupressure is applied up both of the spine and along the lower back, moving up towards the shoulders and neck. This massage relieves stress build up for anyone whose upper back and neck holds a lot of tension, whether from lifestyle or abuse of computers. The massage is suitable for anyone who wants to relieve stress or complaints in the back, neck and shoulder areas in particular. It will help to combat the stress of everyday life.
Neck and shoulder Massage
A neck and shoulder massage is primarily done to relieve the tension and stress around the neck and shoulder area. The importance of the neck and shoulder region lies in the fact that the neck is a flexible structure that connects the brain to the rest of the body. Tension in this important part of the body invariably cause overall discomfiture and slackness.

For centuries, ear-candling, which is also known as ear-coning or thermal-auricular therapy, has been used as an alternative treatment to naturally cleanse the inside of the ears and head. It is a natural, non-intrusive procedure to help alleviate a host of ailments.
Today, this treatment is still widely practiced. Ear-candling assists the natural clearing of earwax (cerumen) and toxins from the ear by the placing of a hollow candle in the ear. One end of the hollow candle is lit, and the other end is placed in the ear canal. The flame creates warmth and suction, and through the process of osmosis, draws ear-wax and toxins out of the ear passageway.

The vacuum created produces a suction effect that increases blood circulation to the local area, relaxes muscle tissue and releases the factors causing pain. The effect of this is to encourage the flow of Qi and blood in the area beneath the cup. It is also used to treat muscle and joint pain and spasms, particularly in the back. On a deeper therapeutic level, cupping is very beneficial for many conditions such as high blood pressure, anxiety, fatique and chronic headache.
Scrapping "Gua Sha"

Raising Sha removes blood stagnation considered pathogenic, promotion normal circulation and metabolic processes. The patient experience immediate relief from pain, stiffness, fever, chill, cough and etc. It is also valuable in prevention and treatment of acute infectious illness, upper respiratory and digestive problems.

What I do know about Reborn is that their staff do know what they are doing. The chairs I wish I could take home! Using warm brown tones and interesting textures in the decor, I look forward to my weekly and sometimes bi-weekly treatment. I have always been treated with the utmost care and respect. The music is well- chosen and gentle, and so is the massage. It beats any place in Bali hands-down for the quality and truly relaxing best part of my week!
Heather Bradleyon
When I am in need of a therapeutic massage, REBORN is the first place I call. They have a team of senior therapists who have been with them for years and know what they are doing. Yes, many spas have prettier surroundings, but when I’ve tried them the massage has tended to be a 2 hour routine that is always the same for everyone and doesn’t adapt to the state of the customer’s body.
Amanda
I have been going to REBORN since shortly after they opened and have always been treated with respect, courtesy and kindness. The chairs for reflexology send me to sleep and can be adjusted for maximum comfort. Reborn in my mind is the best one.

REFLEXOLOGY?
Foot reflexology is a simple, non-invasive method to help balance the body. It is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet which correspond to every part of the body. Reflexology serves to relax, improve circulation and promote a general feeling of wellness.
History of Reflexology
Reflexology has been practiced for thousands of years in such places as China, Egypt, and India. In North America, it was Dr. William Fitzgerald, an ear, nose and throat specialist, who first introduced 'zone therapy' around the early 1900s. His ideas were advanced by Eunice Ingham, a physiotherapist, who developed techniques and a body map of the foot, which later became known as reflexology. Today, reflexology is increasingly becoming a popular form of natural therapy as it provides numerous benefits, particularly one of profound relaxation.
How Reflexology Works
Foot reflexology quite simply refers to the reflexes that have been mapped out in the foot. There are many different foot reflexology charts that show where the reflexes are for every part of the body. Reflexology is different than massage. It is thought that reflexology works through nerve endings whereas massage is applied to the muscles and soft tissue of the body. The actual technique is quite unique as it is meant to affect the reflex and not just the surface of the skin. FAQ
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is the science or method of stimulating reflexes of the foot and hand that correspond to each gland, organ and part of the body. Stimulation of these reflexes serves to relax and normalize all functions of the body in order to promote a natural balance and revitalization. In ancient times, walking barefoot over rocks and hard ground naturally stimulated these reflexes every day.
What is "Tui Na" Therapeutic Massage?
"Tui Na" means 'push rub' and applies the principles of acupressure to bring the body back into balance in order to heal it. It is effective in treating or complementing the treatment of many conditions including muscular-skeletal problems such as lower-back pain, shoulder pain and frozen shoulder
What does Reflexology do?
Reflexology can relieve tension and promote relaxation. Medical studies show that over 75% of all health problems can be linked to tension and stress. Our modern lifestyles not only cause a great deal of this stress, but also do nothing to relieve it. In ancient times, we had stress of a different nature, and due to the ancient lifestyle, were able to naturally treat tension and stress without even realizing it.
How does it work?
There are many theories about how Reflexology works, but the most commonly held belief is that Reflexology acts to relax those reflexes that in turn are connected to various parts of the body, improving lymphatic drainage and circulation as well as relaxing muscles and stimulating nerve connections. Reflexology is primarily a relaxation technique, and while research clearly indicates that Reflexology benefits patients health in both chronic and other ailments, it is not a substitute for medical treatment, and should be considered as complementary to any type of medical treatment. Extensive research on reflexology has validate d the effectiveness of Reflexology.
Is Reflexology new?
Although recently becoming much more popular and accepted in Western society, Reflexology has been practiced for thousands of years by Chinese, Egyptians, Native American cultures and Mayan and Incan civilizations
Is Reflexology the same as Massage, Acupuncture, Acupressure or Shiatsu?
Reflexology is not the same as massage, which involves tissue and muscle therapy to promote relaxation. Acupuncture, Acupressure and Shiatsu are similar in some respects to reflexology in their use of reflexes or meridians of the body as they relate to the gland, organs and parts of the body, however Reflexology focuses on relaxation of those reflexes through manipulation to reduce stress and tension. The other therapies are based on the belief that 'Chi' or energy flows through the meridians and that the ther apy improves the flow of 'Chi' by reducing or eliminating blockages.
What are the benefits of Reflexology?
Reflexology primarily eases stress and tension, which in turn can improve blood circulation, lymph drainage, assist in the elimination of toxins, and strengthening of the immune system. It enables the body's natural healing processes to promote wellness.
Can the use of Reflexology guarantee good health?
Reflexology is not a panacea for all ills, nor can it guarantee good health. However, it can be incorporated into an overall healthy lifestyle which includes attention to diet, moderate exercise, and different forms of stress reduction.
If I have a serious ailment, such as heart trouble, diabetes or cancer, can reflexology make my condition worse?
Absolutely not! Reflexology practised with common sense is completely safe. It simply relaxes the body, which allows it to function more effectively. The results can be amazing!!!
Who can receive reflexology sessions?
Anyone can benefit from reflexology, including children, the elderly and the sick. Reflexology is safe and drug-free, so any person can begin reflexology sessions as soon as they wish.
I'm pregnant, can I have Reflexology? I've heard that you shouldn't have reflexology in the beginning of pregnancy.
According to the guidelines supplied by ITEC the regulating body for Reflexologists in UK, Reflexology should not be used during the first trimester(Weeks 1-12) of pregnancy. However, as far as pregnancy and Reflexology is concerned, the act of Reflexology alone cannot initiate anything that would not occur naturally anyway. So, our Reflexologists will take appropriate care during the treatment, for example the reproductive reflexes may be excluded altogether. If you're pregnant, please make sure you inform our Reflexologist prior the treatment.
Can I have reflexology when I'm having my period?
Yes you can as reflexology affects the feet and calves and not the other parts of the body.
Can Reflexology make a condition worse?
No. Reflexology is a non-invasive natural therapy that relaxes the body and is essentially harmless. On rare occasions, release of toxins as a result of the body's natural healing process may result in symptoms such as perspiration, nausea or headaches, however these symptoms are not directly related to Reflexology, and are temporary and not serious.
Is Reflexology painful?
No, reflexology should not be painful because the primary goal is relaxation.
Will it tickle?
The pressure applied during a treatment is firm and as such the effect is generally not ticklish.
How often should I go for a reflexology sessions?
To receive the maximum relief, we suggested at least once a week to maintain good health.
